I’m preparing to apply under the education-based criterion and am thinking of adding letters from students as a supplement to the main arguments. I know they by themselves aren’t the strongest evidence, but I want to understand whether it makes sense to include them at all. For those who’ve looked into this: which EB-1 criteria does USCIS credit when applying on the basis of education — where is it better to put such letters, under specific criteria or in the overall merits?
‘overall merits’ is the last bucket — better drop it into the ‘teaching’ criterion with numbers for the students.
