How it all happened

Hello everyone! Finally we are ready to share the path to success! We received the long-awaited Approved for EB-1A (Arts)! My name is Murat — I am the husband of one of the most talented artist-illustrators in Kazakhstan! Her name is Zhanar Sagidolla! The idea of a talent visa appeared three years ago, but unfortunately we couldn’t bring ourselves to act because we didn’t believe in our success. Time passed, and in April 2023 we finally decided to prepare the petition. At first we combed the entire internet for information and on May 1 we signed a contract with Moovert on the Optimal plan and began working with Vitaliy to collect documents. In the end everything was ready and, with Moovert’s help, was printed, paid for and sent: sent on 14 December 2023, reached USCIS on 16 December, payment was processed and review began on 19 December, approved on 27 December. Briefly about the petition itself: it totaled 761 pages. The first 19 pages were formal documents (I-140, I-907, G-1145). Section 1 — the explanatory memorandum — consisted of 81 pages, where I described all the criteria we submitted with all links to evidence. We applied under 7 of 10 criteria: Associations, Media, Judging, Contribution to the arts, Exhibitions. Preparation of the petition took several months, and the key factor of success was thorough documentation of achievements and membership in professional associations.
