Tattoo artist training in Italy — where to take courses and which establishments?

I’d like to work as a tattoo artist in Italy — I’ve heard you need to complete special training for that. Could someone tell me where I can do this? Does anyone know any specific schools or courses?

Without Italian, you can’t work with Italian clients — that’s the reality. In Piedmont, a sanitary certificate from the ASL (Azienda Sanitaria Locale, the Local Health Authority) is required for tattoos; it’s mandatory even to work in someone else’s studio — without it you can’t do it legally. There are plenty of Russian-speaking clients in Turin, so you can start with that audience while you brush up on the language.

Thanks, tatasha! Is it difficult to obtain a health certificate from the ASL (Azienda Sanitaria Locale) if my Italian is still weak? Is it required for all regions or only in Piedmont?
