I’m going to the US for the second time on my visa. I’ve heard they might ask for a return ticket from the Schengen area and to see hotel reservations. Do they actually require this, or should I have them ready just in case?
When you apply for a visa you do provide a round-trip itinerary, so it makes sense to have them with you. At the border they usually don’t ask specifically — but if something in your form or your behavior catches the officer’s attention, they might ask. Better to keep them on your phone just in case, so you don’t have to fumble.
