It feels like I-485s under EB-1A have been put on an unofficial pause. For a couple of days they weren’t processing anything at all, then they started — at a snail’s pace. Is the limit about to be reached? They haven’t officially announced anything, but clearly something bad is happening. Has anyone gone through 221(g) administrative processing — have wait times increased now too? Are there any statistics?
Yeah, everyone’s on edge here — the limit seems close, but officially they’re keeping quiet.

My lawyer told me recently that premium processing for EB-1A often isn’t meeting its processing times right now — the backlog is wild. So yeah, something’s actually happening, but officially, as always, they’re quiet. Let’s wait for the next bulletin; maybe at least some numbers will show up.
