Administrative check in Armenia — if I withdraw the case, will they send it to АП in Kazakhstan?

If I withdraw the case from the Armenian embassy, where it’s currently under administrative processing, will this visa not appear anywhere in the system? And if I then apply in Kazakhstan — will they not see the history and won’t send it for administrative processing again? I want to understand whether the application history will be clean or whether everything will still be visible.

alas, the history is visible - the administrative check in the system doesn’t disappear when the consulate is changed

There’s a single database for all the consulates — this API isn’t going anywhere.

The review does not remove AP (АП) from the system - an officer in Almaty will see the same record.

The entire record is in CCD — the Consolidated Consular Database, which officers in Almaty have the same access to as those in Yerevan. Roughly speaking, a withdrawal closes the petition but does not erase security records — those are separate systems. If you have been placed on AP (administrative processing), that is a record in the security databases, not in the visa application, and nothing will clear it.

AP is recorded in the security databases, not in the DS-160 - Almaty will see the same thing

I understand the urge to start with a clean slate — but instead of reapplying, it’s better to wait. My review took eight weeks. I’ve seen it drag on for a year and a half for some people and it still turned out fine. Hang in there)

It doesn’t work like that — I read about a case where someone went through administrative processing (AP), got a visa, and a week later came back for another one — they were sent to AP again with the same processing time. The system records the fact of the check itself, not its result. Bribing the consulate to get around it is pointless.

Changing the consulate won’t help - reapplying only resets the waiting period, it doesn’t erase the history.
