EB-1 criteria (USCIS) — does the officer manually type in links to the articles from the case?

Am I correct in understanding that when we provide links to articles as evidence for EB-1 criteria, a USCIS officer will later manually type them into a browser if they want to check? Or are clickable links somehow transmitted?

They accept it either way — the main thing is that the link actually opens)

Screenshots are trusted — that’s the main format. Links are just another indicator of trust, like, if you want, you can check them. Back then most journals came to them as scans of the print edition and they accepted them anyway. Roughly speaking, a petition is a paper bundle; the officer at the computer doesn’t Google anything from the links.
