I’m working on the “critical role in the organization” criterion for EB-1. I’m the top performer in my division by metrics, and management has the charts and tables. How should I properly show this in the USCIS petition — should I attach screenshots? And how can I prove that a document wasn’t prepared by me myself? Will confirmation letters from management on official letterhead sent from an official company email suffice as verification?
For a critical role, an employer letter — on official letterhead, signed, and from a corporate email — is standard; USCIS accepts such letters without problems. Regarding screenshots of metrics: it’s better not to just attach them separately, but to have management refer to and interpret those data within the letter itself. The officer should see the employer explicitly say, “this person performed a critical role because…” with references to specific figures. Otherwise a screenshot is just a picture without context.
