EB-1: Approved after interview in Warsaw, Arts

EB-1 approval Art EB1 interview Warsaw

How it went

Hello everyone. Yesterday we had interviews in Warsaw for EB1 - Art. I want to share how the interview went in the chat.

Already in the hall, at the first window they immediately asked in which language my husband and I wanted to be interviewed, and we immediately asked for the interview to be in Russian. The woman at the window asked how I was applying for such a program and didn’t know the language. I answered that I know it a little, but I would still prefer to be interviewed in Russian. Then they took fingerprints, asked a couple of “everyday” questions about family, and sent us to wait.

We waited for about an hour, then we were called to another window for the interview. The consul asked us in Russian, “Can we conduct the interview in English?” We shook our heads and she called over an interpreter. She didn’t ask many questions: she asked my husband about his work, where he works and worked before. She asked me, as the principal applicant, what I do, whether this is my main activity, what I will do in America, and how much money we have.

That’s basically it. She said we can pick up our passports in 3–5 days and gave a leaflet titled “about the issuance of the passport and the immigrant visa.” We were so happy that we didn’t even ask about the fact that the visas had run out, and we didn’t ask to pick up the passports. We’ll wait for them and monitor the situation on site.
