\n\n\n\n## How it went\n\nMy EB1 story — link to the post https://t.me/talentvisahelp/47581\n\n🎊 May 8, 2024 — EB1 petition approved\n📑 May and June 2024 — I went looking for someone to do the medical documents — that's form #i693. I brought old records from my vaccination card, so they only gave the tetanus shot. It's given every 10 years. I had the Pfizer COVID shot back in #Serbia #Belgrade in 2023 before coming to the USA. When they give you the folder with medical documents, you must not open it. You need to send it sealed.\n📫 Early July 2024 — I sent the documents for the #greencard request. The package reached USCIS, but there was no response from them. They didn't charge the fee to the card. I called USCIS; they filed a case search request. Then I called again, they made another request. In the end, there was silence.\n📦 August 5–6, 2024 — I resent all the documents. They redid my medical documents.\n📮 August 7–8, 2024 — my first documents arrived in the mail. There was an error with the payment amount. I don't know how I messed up, since I knew about the increase for a long time and had double-checked several times before sending. All documents were arranged in order and the medical documents were opened 🙂 They couldn't be reused anyway.\n🙌🏼 August 30, 2024 — fingerprinting and they take a photo. They roll both hands 🙂\n💳 November 11, 2024 — status changed to “We ordered you a new card”\n🎁 In late November 2024, a couple of pages and a card arrived in my mailbox in a USPS standard premium envelope. Along with them was a letter with the green approval form for the #greencard — the same document issued when O1 and EB1 statuses are approved.\n\nPS. After fingerprinting the case stayed without status changes for a long time. A woman in the group that was following the same process as me moved her fingerprinting a couple of days earlier and received approval and the green card in October. This is just for information. The reason was legitimate, but the fact remains that my case took two months longer.\n\nThanks everyone for the support! Now I can fully focus on my work, daily life, and so on.\nThe main thing is to have critical thinking, value other people, moral values, adaptability to situations, and prudence ☺️\n\n
