\n\n\n\n## How it went\n\nI am the client who could have become attorney-legend Victoria Bloomberg’s first “case denial”. We had known about Victoria Bloomberg a year ago, but at that time we couldn't get a consultation because there were no appointments. We started working with another attorney recommended to us by acquaintances as “the best in the Miami area”. That attorney characterized our case as strong and stated our chances of a positive EB-1A outcome as 97%. In the end, the attorney did not communicate with me at all during the entire preparation period; we received an RFE, and ultimately a denial. Then my husband and I decided to consult Victoria. She immediately requested the entire submitted petition, and it became clear to us that the case had been poorly prepared. The case is very complex—at the intersection of medicine and science—and it was crucial to present it in a way that left the officer with no questions. Victoria agreed to take our case. First of all, she delved deeply into the nature of my profession and achievements to identify the strengths and present them as indisputable. The case was completely redone; the petition was filed under 7 out of 10 possible criteria. Work was done even on weekends and holidays; Victoria personally participated in preparing the petition. Victoria promised me nothing, did not give any percentage chances; she simply did her work—thoroughly, conscientiously, and professionally. Victoria was not expecting the RFE. But it came. Unfair, strange, with comments on 3 out of the 7 points, which suggested that the officer had read the petition at best halfway. While preparing the response to the RFE Victoria said: “I'll do everything”. And she did. The response to the RFE was so thorough that the officer, who initially did not want to read the petition within 14 days, ultimately responded with approval in half the time. I saw how much Victoria cared about our case, and it moved me to the core. I am a physician who performs interventional research, and I care deeply about my patients' fate. I've always done everything I could for each one. But I never thought lawyers could treat clients this way. A supreme degree of perfectionism, exceptional intellect, ambition, warmth, and deep immersion in the case — this almost impossible combination of qualities in one person allows Victoria to achieve the client's desired result. We could have become her first “denial” in her practice, but we didn't. And the case was objectively strong, but that wasn't enough. It's something more than luck, quality work, or professionalism. It's mastery, artistry, a sincere desire and ability to help, a willingness to fight until victory! It's impossible to fully understand how the USCIS system works. But if you're going there at all, and particularly with an EB-1 case, then only with Victoria Bloomberg and her team! Victoria is a fantastically warm, caring and supremely decent person, and we are infinitely grateful to her and her team for their highly professional work, for the maximum effort and support, and for the feeling that “you are not alone”.\n\n
