How it went
Hello everyone. I received an RFE. Petition as an engineer in green construction. I have 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur and as a director of window manufacturing plants. SOC 17-2199. The entire petition was built on engineering achievements. Filed: Judging — accepted, Associations — not accepted. The evidence submitted does not demonstrate that the listed associations pertain to the business aspects of the beneficiary’s claimed field of extraordinary ability. Media — not accepted. Same — not related to the business field. Scientific publications — not accepted. The journals are not related to the business field. Salary — not accepted. It’s absurd that all the articles, media, and research are considered related to construction and engineering, which is the field I applied in. But in the RFE the officer considered me a “businessman”. My guess is that the RFE was drafted by an overworked AI that hallucinates. Officer: XM0312.
Main insight
“It’s important to correctly position your achievements in the petition to avoid misinterpretation by the officer.”
