Did I understand correctly — if a Visa Bulletin for EB-2 NIW was released, does that mean there’s no queue? Or is “no bulletin” a separate status, and am I confusing things?
You’re a bit mixed up. The Visa Bulletin is basically the queue display — if the date for your category and country is “current”, you can file the I-485; if not, you wait until it becomes current. For NIW this is far more critical than for EB-1. My friend, even after the petition itself was approved via premium processing, was stuck for almost 14 months until the date became current.
