How can I find out how many criteria USCIS credited at the initial filing and how many were credited after responding to an RFE — for example, 1 criterion at filing and 1 after? Do they state this explicitly in the decision letter, or do you have to figure it out yourself? I’m trying to understand how to respond to a USCIS RFE step by step and then interpret the outcome.
From what I’ve gathered from the forum — the RFE letter itself spells out which criteria are counted and for which ones additional evidence is needed. But there’s one thing that surprised me: in the final denial they may credit more criteria than were listed in the RFE — it still doesn’t reach three. I’m collecting six criteria with that exact scenario in mind, so that even in that case it will be enough.
