I’m preparing documents for the EB-2 NIW; my diploma already has an apostille. My background is: about 10 years in the finance department of a large British FMCG company — I worked with banks, cash flow, and currency/foreign-exchange control. Then I moved into sales, and I’ve been at a Belgian company for three years now. With that kind of background, how should I present myself for the NIW? I don’t see what to base my case on.
The motivation letter really makes a difference here — I attached a detailed description of my experience, what I specifically did, along with a presentation of case studies. For me, what’s on my diploma was different from what I actually did at work, and this letter tied everything together into a coherent picture. Show everything you’ve got to prove your experience — transcripts, recommendation letters, any documents that confirm you actually did it.
