Who got their premium processing fee refunded? My case went into administrative processing — I heard that in this situation USCIS should refund the premium processing fee via an e-request. Has anyone actually gone through this?
With EB-1 this started sometime in the fall — we filed for premium processing, which is supposed to take 15 business days, but they’ve been reviewing it for months. We asked USCIS directly what happens to the fee if they miss the deadline — they said you can request a refund. The e-Request is the standard tool for these cases; that’s exactly what it’s for.

Thanks — how long did the refund take for you after requesting it via e-request? I want to know whether it’s actually possible to get that money back or if they just keep passing you around forever.
