Could you tell me: for the “High remuneration” criterion under the O-1 visa, is it sufficient to show NDFL (personal income tax) documents with taxes paid, or is something else required? The situation is that, in addition to my main job I did consulting work on the side. In that case, how can I compare my income to other specialists in the same field?
it’s more about income than salary here — there’s no clear designation in USCIS manuals of what counts as “high”; the amount depends on the profession, the country and a bunch of other factors. your task is to show that your income is higher than others in your field — collect 2-NDFL (2-НДФЛ) plus bank statements for consulting for all periods. find an expert who will write an opinion, but only if the salary is really high; otherwise you won’t pull it off.
