O-1 visa and I-485 - case transferred to field office, does that mean a decision?

I wanted to ask if anyone had something similar — if the I-485 case was transferred to a field office, does that mean a decision is coming soon? The lawyer wrote that the interview was waived. Or could this still be delayed for a long time?

Well, if they waived the interview that’s a good sign — usually it doesn’t take long after that. I saw a case where, after the transfer to the field office, it was approved in literally a couple of weeks, but sometimes it takes longer — depends on the office. Don’t worry, there’s movement, so everything’s going forward)

Since there was no RFE and the interview was waived, the case is clean — everything’s clear to the officer. Usually after transfer to the field office it’s 1–3 months max, so you’re basically on the home stretch )

Listen, you’re really almost there — since the interview was waived and you’re at the field office, all that’s left is to wait. All checks have been completed, only the adjustment itself remains) Good luck!
