I’m moving to Italy and trying to sort out the driver’s license situation. I heard there’s a one-year period after moving to exchange Russian licenses. In that case, is my driving experience from Russia taken into account at all, or will I have to retake everything from scratch?
Prior driving experience doesn’t count, alas — you’re treated as a newly licensed driver like any other beginner.
