I got a notice saying RFE (Request for Evidence) regarding my I-485. I don’t really understand what that is. If it’s something medical — that would be for a doctor, not a lawyer, right?
If the RFE lists medical — that’s Form I-693, to be completed by a civil surgeon from the USCIS list; you don’t need a lawyer for that. But open the entire document — besides the medical item there may be other points with deadlines.
