I underwent administrative processing when I got my visa — I wanted to clarify one point. Does this annotation mean that for all subsequent visas of any category I will also be subject to administrative processing of the same length? Or is it a one-off? Should I consider “clearance received” a permanent black mark?
Don’t worry, it’s not a lifetime stamp. I’ve heard people had different outcomes — some got flagged again on their next visa, while others went through smoothly without any administrative processing (AP). A lot depends on the trigger — if it’s your surname or field of work, it might happen again, but if it was a one-off situation, then it won’t. So don’t psych yourself out in advance )

My next visa went through completely fine after administrative processing — it’s not a stigma.
