The Engineering Mavericks Guild is an elite group within the Elite Skillset Association, known for its top-tier professionals and rigorous selection process. We maintain a strict limit of 100 members, each representing the highest level of expertise and commitment in the engineering industry.

Membership is dynamic, with professionals leaving and joining throughout the year based on their contributions to the engineering community and their ability to maintain high standards. When a spot opens, we immediately notify all applicants on our waiting list, making it beneficial to apply even when we're at full capacity.

Our members are recognized for their significant industry contributions, proficiency in various engineering disciplines, and high educational level. High Demand: We receive over 800 applications each year, but only a small fraction of applicants are accepted into the guild, reflecting the high level of competition and our commitment to maintaining a high standard of excellence.

Selection criteria
To become a part of the Engineering Mavericks Guild, we look for the following:

Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Petroleum, or a related field) is required. Advanced degrees and certifications are highly valued.
Professional Experience: We require a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the engineering sector. Experience in specialized areas such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, petroleum engineering, or systems design is particularly desirable.
Engineering Projects: Applicants should submit details of professional projects they have worked on. These could be work projects, freelance projects, or significant contributions to engineering projects.
Patents and Publications: If the applicant has any patents or has published research in reputable engineering journals, this will be considered a significant advantage.
Reference Letters: Applicants should provide at least one reference letter from a professional in a related field. This could be a coworker, supervisor, or a respected professional in the engineering industry.
Skills: Proficiency in using engineering software, strong problem-solving abilities, and a demonstrated understanding of current engineering trends and issues are required.
Innovation: We value members who have a track record of innovation, whether that's through developing new technologies, improving existing systems, or finding creative solutions to engineering challenges.
Collaboration: As a guild, we thrive on collaboration. We're looking for professionals who work well in teams, can effectively communicate their ideas, and are open to learning from others.
Application review
Initial screening phase where we assess your application for completeness and relevance.
Guild member approval
If your application passes the initial review, it is then forwarded to several guild members for further evaluation.

At least one member must endorse your application, acting as your petitioner, for you to proceed to the next stage.
Interview with selection commitee
This stage involves a 30-minute call with one or more members of the selection committee.

During this interview, your application will be discussed in detail, and your skills and qualifications will be evaluated. The outcome of this stage could either be a confirmation or rejection of your application.
Committee voting
The final step is a vote by the selection committee. Your application must receive approval from at least 75% of the committee members to be successful.
